Halloween

I love this boy....and he loves his Gabba.

We celebrated Halloween with family and friends.
First stop, a visit with the cousins

Next, off to best buddy Roba's house for trick or treat fun.
I am going to tell you how I thought it would go,
short visit and we pass out some candy, at the house....
NOT!

Cold, wet, and rainy and yet T was all about the trick or treating...
We went door to door, and it did not take long for T to 'get it'
hmmmm.... take candy say thank you... he loved to carry his bootie

Thankfully, collecting the candy was a bigger thrill than eating it.
BUT tonight he went to bed chanting
trick or treat, trick or treat, trick or treat....

The Wedding Weekend

Aunt Katie and Uncle Peter got married this weekend
We had a most excellent time.

There is nothing like the stress of inclement weather
The wedding was outside at French Park
A GORGEOUS venue...
The rain stopped about 2 hours before the ceremony,
it was slightly wet, really chilly but beautiful all the same.
Thankfully, tents and heaters were involved for the reception!

Theo exercises a little freedom before the festivities.

If only I could get him to smile on command.

All the cousins were in full wedding gear.

The bridal party consisted of 4 adults and 6 children
T was not 'officially' part of the wedding party
but he went down the aisle with Grammy and Uncle Pete
Unfortunately, I missed what proved to be quite an adorable scene
T waved to everyone in the audience, all the way down the aisle.
I was rewarded later when I headed down the aisle...
instrumental music and T chanting "mama, mama, mama"...

Peek a boo

This is my all time favorite picture
Everyone needed a little Gabba break.

Boys, Danger, & the Hospital

Look closely at this darling picture of my son.
Beautiful flowers... yet my child is smelling a rock.

...Boys...
A few weeks back I invested in an energy buster
It was a marvelous investment
T loves it and he is a gifted jumper.

...Danger...
I often think I am a heartbeat away from the ER
A few days after my trampoline purchase
my dad, and T's adoring grandfather
dropped off an article he read in the newspaper:
"Doctors say, trampolines too dangerous"
The article was followed up by several phone calls
suggesting perhaps I return the energy-buster.

We kept the trampoline, T is perfecting his bounce
These days he bounces everywhere... in fact he
bounces & jumps constantly and not only on the trampoline.

...the Hospital...
Last week T had a follow up appointment
at Children's Hospital, his appointment was at 9:30am
At 8 am T bounced right off my bed...
there were tears and blood,
then I noticed the blood was inside and outside of his mouth
O M G ... his tooth went through his face
G R O S S!
I had a mini panic attack.
But by the time we arrived to our appointment,
everyone had recovered, and I even had time for a coffee.

3 days later you would never noticed a flaw.
