Oh Canada!

We made the trek north last month to the Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada.
Theo used his US passport for the very first time....
Our Canadian side of the family introduced us to the wonders of cottage life....
If you ask Theo he will tell you the best part of Canada was the boys bathroom....
I thought of many difficulties I would have raising a boy as a single mom- I missed that one :) Thank goodness for awesome uncles, godfathers and male friends!

I am back to work and transitions are tough, we visited our friends in Baltimore for a week right before I went back to school-  always a great time....
Stay tuned for fun times ahead... preschool, soccer and back to skating....

Running Man

Theo ran the kids run at the Hyde Park Blast last weekend.
This boy loves to run...
lucky for us, his cousin Gigi and her friend strategically lined up right in front and ran behind him.  Technically, he tied for first in his age group however, my niece informed me
"Theo really was the winner because the other kid,
well, her mom was practically dragging her and that is the ONLY reason he tied, sheesh!"
We are not competitive at all.

Post race we celebrated with friends, cousins, and balloon hats.
I had a random conversation with a man who was excited to watch the elite
Kenyan runners who were competing later in the evening.

I suppose it would be exciting but I know there were at least
four little Ethiopians dynamos who ran in the morning.

Fearless!

First swimming, now diving.... a fearless toddler makes for a nervous mama!
