Spring Break Fun

We headed to the beach this week

to enjoy family, friends, sun and fun.

Our Baltimore friends are in the area and this made T and mom very happy.

The beach is definitely T's favorite place to play.

He would jump the waves & dig in the sand all day.

It is a blessing that this guy likes his hat...

Today we went to experience Bi-Koto.

I had no idea such a gem lived in our fair city.  

Although their focus was Ghana, Nigeria, Guinea,

T loved, loved, loved the drumming and dancing.

He would drum on the chairs and followed the dance moves...

more than once he screamed dance mommy, more dance!

He would also direct me to 'keep clapping' if I took a breather....

Such fun!!

We are so lucky to have a group of friends who share T's Ethiopian heritage

T has a group he calls 'the guys'

Group members include:

Mickey, Pluto, Elmo, Blue Blob, Plex & Donald Duck

They take turns on day trips, but one always tags along.

  Around here things have been slowly inching toward spring....

This winter we have spent a lot of time inside the house.

For the last several weekends, we have watched the cousins compete

Hockey, Basketball, and outdoor SOCCER

Snow Day

Today was officially a SNOW DAY! 

The perfect snow day 4+ inches of snow early and clear roads by noon.

Theo and I spent no time in the snow,

but we were busy inside.

A play date with cousin Quincy & lunch with Mimi and Re at the office.

I need to catch up with more posts soon but for today I have the best picture...
